Why should I vote?

The apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 5:20 called Christians "ambassadors" who preach the gospel of Christ.

An "ambassador" is a person who lives in a foreign country to represent the interests of his native country.

We who are Christians are ambassadors for the kingdom of God.

Christ is our King.  We are eternal citizens of His kingdom.

We dwell for a time in the world under the government of the kingdom of man.  We are not permanent citizens of the US.

Our duty as Christians is to stand for the interests of the kingdom of God in this world.

One way in the US we can do this is to vote.

We should vote for candidates and policies that are consistent with the law of God.

We should vote against candidates and policies that violate the law of God.

The purpose of this site is to inform Christians on how to vote.

Our responsibility is to be faithful to God's kingdom.

One way we preach the gospel of Christ is to vote.  We vote in accordance with His Law revealed in His Word, the Scriptures.
